Field of Flowers stands out from other residential designs with its innovative approach and integration with nature. The villas are built on arch or semi-arch bearing bases, minimizing their impact on the soil and allowing it to benefit from rain and natural processes. Each block consists of four villa units, which can rotate 360 degrees throughout the day, providing panoramic views for the residents.
One of the notable features of the Field of Flowers project is its use of wind roses to generate energy. By harnessing the power of the wind, the villas can partially supply their own energy needs, reducing their reliance on traditional power sources. Additionally, each villa unit has the opportunity to engage in organic agriculture, creating a self-sustaining ecosystem within the community.
The design of the villas incorporates oviform windows on the ceiling, equipped with automatically hinged blinds. This allows residents to control the amount of natural light entering their homes while maintaining privacy. The facade of the villas features reflective glazing, adding a touch of modernity and enhancing energy efficiency.
The Field of Flowers project offers a unique living experience, where residents can enjoy the beauty of nature while embracing innovative design concepts. The villas provide ample space, with the approximate area of a villa including a ground floor living room, hall, cellar, kitchen, and a lower floor bedroom with balconies. The storey height varies, with 4.00 meters on the ground floor and 3.20 meters on the lower floor.
Murat Gedik, the visionary behind Field of Flowers, spent three months conceptualizing and refining the design. The project is currently seeking investors who share the vision of a sustainable and harmonious living environment.
The Field of Flowers design has received recognition for its excellence and innovation. In 2014, it was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in the Architecture, Building, and Structure Design category. This prestigious award honors designs that meet professional and industrial requirements, showcasing practicality, innovation, and fulfillment.
Field of Flowers is a testament to the possibilities of integrating nature, innovation, and sustainability in residential design. Murat Gedik's vision has created a unique living experience that not only provides comfort and functionality but also contributes to a better world.
